Collection: Broken is Beautiful Glass Series

Broken Is Beautiful is my signature collection—a celebration of resilience, transformation, and the beauty that can emerge from life's most unexpected moments.

The series was born from an experience while studying glass art in Dakar, Senegal. During the creative process, a piece of glass accidentally shattered. Rather than discarding it, I saw new possibilities within the fractured surface. The cracks, textures, and broken edges became part of the artwork itself, revealing a depth and brilliance that could never have existed in an unbroken piece.

Each artwork is created using hand-painted acrylics on shattered glass, carefully reconstructed and mounted to create a composition that embraces imperfection rather than hiding it. As light moves across the surface, every fragment reflects and refracts differently, making each piece come alive with changing color, texture, and dimension.

More than a collection, Broken Is Beautiful is a reminder that our greatest challenges do not define us—they shape us. Every crack tells a story of perseverance. Every fragment represents growth. Every completed work stands as a testament that what has been broken can become something even more powerful, meaningful, and beautiful.
